yeah it has been a while, and i am very sorry. things have been so redic lately its been hard to sit down and write something meaningful. but i thought that really the point of a blog it to not be meaningful. nobody really wants to read about that kind of crap anyway.

4 more months til i am married and i am kinda freaking out about all that needs to go into place before that happens. i am just so excited and happy, that i want it to be here like..tomorrow!!

work is well….work. very busy – makes the day go by fast, almost too fast.

So im finally feeling better. Yesterday was the first day I felt fully normal. Aw man but Monday afternoon, I am so dumb. Listen to this hilarious story. So typical of me:So on Mon I just wasn’t 100% yet and just didn’t feel like working and all I wanted to do was relax at home but of course didn’t call out. So all day at work im dragging bc im weak still and just didn’t have energy to do anything. So at 5:20 ross tells me, hey why don’t you get out of here. So im like, GREAT! I can get the 5:39 home and get home and lay down by 6:45. So I get to the train station and I didn’t know if I just haven’t taken that train for awhile but somehow, not paying much attention, I went to the wrong side of the track, and got on the “5:39″ train, little did I know it was the 5:38 R7 to chestnut hill east. So I get on the train all relaxed, sit down at once and whip out my headphones, put my head back and close my eyes.

So I don’t really hear anything until about 7-9 minutes later when the conductor says something muffled like, “next stop westl. . .” (I don’t know the name of the stop but started with a W). So I pick up my head, think to myself-this is express to ft washington, I don’t think he said fort Washington. So im looking around on the train and no one is familiar, not the ticket taker or anything. so then the gut feeling of being completely lost hits me and im like, what the h train am I on?? Please god don’t be something so far and weird. So I immediately text rich, “I got on the wrong train!” and he calls me back, meanwhile im waiting for the next stop to be called so I can get off and wait for a train back to the city so I can get on the R5. Then I hear, Next Stop, GERMANTOWN! So im on the phone with rich and walking to the front of the train to look at which train line I am on according to the Germantown stop, and figure out im on the r7 to chestnut hill east. Kinda relieved since chestnut hill is something im a little familiar with. So I tell rich im going to get off a Germantown and hes like, NO DO NOT GET OFF its so bad there! stay on the train, read me the stops. So im reading him the stops and they are all bad and I fail to mention the last one, C.H. East. At this point he was leaving temple and on broad street so he said, ok I guess just get off at Mt Airy and ill try and find the station and pick you up. So I take the train to Mt. airy, get off and people scatter like never before so I cant even ask anyone what street I am on. So im all alone at this station , outside, and of course the ticket office is locked and closed and theses no one in sight, I locate the schedule behind the glass and find out what roads its on, call rich and tell him, and he has NO CLUE whgere it is. Its only then that I realize that chestnut hill east is an actual stop and not just the name of the train line hahaha. And a train is coming in 15 mins in the same direction I just got off. (The one back to the city isn’t for another hour)

So I tell rich this and I can tell he is thinking, ohmygosh idiot, and then I tell him im going to get back on the train going in the same direction and get off at chestnut hill and for him to pick me up there. so I finally get back on the train and go there and wait, but get so impatient that I start to walk along this street where I see a sign that points to which direction the hospital is. So I walk a few blocks only to realize I have no clue where im going and I have lost all my bearings, so I just turn around and walk back to the station, and wait 10 mins for rich to get there. so he got there and had to drive me back to l-dale to get my car, but I treated him to a beer first for doing that for me and putting up with all my shenanigans. So that’s my story. Didn’t get home till like 8:45. But hilarious story that I will never forget. hahaha

so people mag is reporting that tom brady and gazelle…ahem, gisele are engaged..but that same story came out around xmas. is it true this time?

also congrats to mr. & mrs. fergie… but unforch josh duhamel is forever off the market, not that it matters for me…but just think of all those sad single ladies out there.

oh yeah and some chick that won biggest loser got engaged to her bf of 4 months…and it was in us mag, that is totally not us mag worthy, must have been a slow week.

i didn’t watch the golden globes, but i will take a gander at some sites to see what the stars wore and will give you some feedback later this week…i will however say that jennifer lo was trying to hard…

j has alerted me to the fact that chuck bass looks like the count for sesame street…thoughts??

last night was one of the best nights. sometimes i take being with j for granted and i forget that we spenta year apart just getting to see each other for 48 hours a weekend…or every other weekend at that. but last night was great, nothing special, just going to the gym, making dinner and me forcing j to watch gossip girl. although i know he secretly wishes he was as bad ass as chuck bass. but it was a really good night..and i got him to finish up the guest list…yay, victory!!

got word today that my car is fixed. needed a new hub bearing, whatever that is…under $300 which is nice but still annoying cause i would rather spend that on about a million other things.

so i have to take my car to the shop…something to do with my front wheels grinding. i am trying to brace myself for how much that is going to cost.

i am going to pick our our save the date cards this weekend. but before that i am going to have to trick j into spending sometime looking over the guest list, which will be no easy task. maybe i can use one of his favorite restaurants as a ploy. i am going to tell him that the guest list is like a band aid, you just have to rip it off quick…that makes it less painful.

on a hilarious, i cant believe i wasted an hour and a half of my life note…did anyone happen to see rock of love tour bus? wow, i was feeling so many emotions watching that. it was funny, crazy, disgusting, happy, sad, disgusting, unbelievable and disgusting all wrapped up in an hour and a half show. i will continue to watch…my tour has not ended yet.

   so it looks like 2009 is going to be a busy year. so far here is my     schedule:

  february 19-24: san francisco – visiting aunt p

  march 12-15: charlotte, nc via wilmington, nc – shelley’s  shower/bachelorette

  may 22-25: charleston, sc – shelley & john’s wedding

  august 28-30: dallas, tx – mere & shawn’s wedding

  october 19-25: rivera maya, mexico – honeymoon!!

  ..and i guess due to it being a new year i should go ahead and make some resolutions i am sure i will break.

1. run a ½ marathon. i have already signed up for the information session for team in training, so that’s the first step.
2. along with that comes the get in shape, blah blah blah…but maybe this year i will do it cause i have a huge event come 10/17/09.
3. take our bad dog to dog school.
4. save more money by bringing my lunch to work. (this might also help with #2)
5. count to 5 before i say something i may regret.
6. remind myself everyday how lucky i am for everything i have. (jason, family, friends, job, things, a home…and the list could go on forever..)
7. and what would my resolutions be without….blog more!
